Service

Volunteering in service activities allows members to make a difference by helping charitable organizations in our community. During the last few years, the club has been involved with a variety of charities including the following.

  • Dress for Success

The mission of Dress for Success is to help unemployed and underemployed women achieve economic independence by providing no-fee programs, development tools and professional attire to thrive in work and in life.

  • Nourish Up

The mission of Nourish Up is to nourish our neighbors with food and compassion, and it envisions a community that accepts no excuses for anyone going hungry. It is dedicated to ending food insecurity and creating a community where everyone thrives.

  • Hospitality House

Hospitality House of Charlotte creates community for patients connecting to vital medical care. When families are experiencing a medical crisis, we provide more than just a temporary place to stay; we provide access to healthcare and a community of support.

  • Carolina Breast Friends

Carolina Breast Friends is a community dedicated to embracing and supporting those impacted by breast cancer. It provides a positive environment where survivors and thrivers can access resources, education, and fellowship at any stage of their journey.

  • Thompson

Thompson is a human services leader transforming lives through prevention, mental health services, and foster care. As a solutions-driven organization committed to rewriting narratives for the most vulnerable in our community; Thompson achieves this by providing comprehensive, evidence-based services, and trauma-informed care, for children (ages 0-18) and their families, virtually and in-person.

  • Agape Acres

Agape Acres exists to rehabilitate and house horses in need, cherish and enrich the lives of vulnerable and special needs youth by pairing them with a trained mentor and a rescue horse to work on life skills and goals through equine-assisted activities that help them transition toward healthy adulthood, and  inspire and educate the community through engaging outreach.

  • Holy Angels

The Holy Angels mission is to provide compassionate, dependable care and opportunities for high-quality living to those with intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions through physical, social, spiritual, educational, vocational and emotional support.
