The Palisades Women’s Club
Operational Guidelines
(Revised October 26, 2022)
MEMBERSHIP
Guests of the Palisades Women’s Club (PWC) may attend two meetings without obligation, but they are required to join if they wish to attend additional meetings, parties or participate in the various Auxiliary Groups or special functions.
All members of the PWC will be on the active roster until the following November meeting. After the November meeting, those who have not renewed their membership will be removed from our mailing list. (See PWC BYLAWS ARTICLE III, SECTION 2.A)
Only members in good standing (those whose dues are paid in full as defined in the bylaws), may attend parties, participate in the various Auxiliary Groups, special functions, or assist in planning events.
The roster is for membership use only. It may not be shared outside our membership. The roster is to be used for PWC business only and may not be used for solicitation purposes.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are required for meetings and events held at the Palisades Country Club.
There is a cut-off date for all reservations as the Chef must have an accurate count to order the proper amount of food. The cut-off date will be announced well in advance of events requiring a reservation.
SPECIAL EVENTS
All women who reside in the Palisades, Meridians, and North Reach, and members of the Country Club, are invited to attend the August Social (when scheduled). We want the community to know about the PWC, and we want to create a positive impression which will encourage joining our Club.
The December Holiday Party is for PWC members (and their guests) only.
AUXILIARY GROUPS
Suggestions for new Auxiliary Groups must be approved by the Board.
MISCELLANEOUS
Blue jeans are not allowed at our meetings. The Palisades Country Club has a policy stating that blue jeans are not allowed upstairs at the Country Club.
